That's one of my faves. Sprouts has them in the bulk bins, but its version isn't my preferred. On the other hand, if I want a reduced calorie fix (i.e., only get a few pieces), it is a decent option.

See's sells a thinner version of these in eight-ounce boxes -- either all dark, all milk, or mixed. They're good, but more expensive than Nuts.com, and I prefer the thicker version anyway.

There's a Nuts.com TV commercial going on in the background as I type this! (That said, I did not care for their chocolate covered orange strips very much.)

Are you talking about the chocolate-covered orange peel, the chocolate-dipped orange slices, or the Joyva chocolate-covered orange jell bars? I have some of the latter in the apartment right now, along with some of the Joyva chocolate-covered raspberry jell bars.

Several years had passed between trips to Brussels (many years ago) and I went to find Pierre Marcolini, the little shop was gone, I couldn't find it ... until I saw it down the block and it had turned into a museum-type chocolate shop, not the rustic country place of years past. So disappointing. Prices skyrocketed and quality (or at least taste, if not quality) fell.

Thought itd be fun to discuss candy bars were eating.
I got this Old Faithful from another mom in my book club. She got it in Iowa and I think the brand is Iowa Candy. She got an assortment box. Its really good like the Cherry candy was.

My most recent candy purchases were on the Monday after Easter. I sent myself (in the 1987 Chevrolet Sprint) to a few Family Dollar stores, because I did well there on the day after Xmas. Family Dollar was not as good this time. Pretty much the only item found {discounted} on the shelf was various packages of Reese's peanut butter 'eggs'.
[N.B.: At one Family Dollar there was a Walgreen's across the avenue from it. I explored, but swiftly exited. Not only because there was hardly anything being discounted - but the discount itself was only 25%.
]
But I did really well at an Aldi. This was not an Aldi I typically shop. It had bars of Choceur chocolate discounted. Including the six-packs of mini-size chocolate bars (both Dark and Milk), the standard large-size Dark and Milk chocolate bars, and Choceur peanut butter cups.

As I was driving back home from Lexington, I thought of this thread when I decided I didn't want to stop to eat until later so I pulled out a Payday bar from my portable office, which is something with all its peanuts on the outside and nugget on the outside is a tasty way to keep the hunger at bay for a few hours (and since no chocolate you have less mess to worry about while you are driving when its a heat wave)
