I may be unobservant. This is the first time I’ve noticed Fresca refers to itself as “soda water”.

Back in 1966, along with Tab, this would have been my parents favorite drink.

I have a friend who cannot drink whiskey without the addition of Fresca. He is banned from my home.

I just bought a 12-pack of Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut Zero Sugar. It's currently chilling in the fridge. I hope it's good.

That is hands down the weirdest combination of flavours Ive ever heard of in a commercially available drink.

What was it like?

It tastes exactly like fresh toasted coconut. It's a rather odd taste in liquid form, but I liked it. I'll definitely finish my 12-pack, although I'm not sure I feel a need to acquire more.

Just made my first Manhattan in a couple weeks. One of my favorites and tonight I used the J Rodger Kansas City Rye I picked up during the MCI BBQ DO.

Mezcal and Fresca. Sort of a “poor man’s Paloma” I guess.

Ever visited China?

Years ago, I had a can of "bird's nest juice."

I snack on grass jelly and enjoy cheese, I don’t think a birds nest drink is at all weird.

I imagine that would taste something like cream soda.

That was exactly what I was expecting before I bought it, but it really doesn't. The best thing I can compare it to (as I think I did before) is a Dunkin toasted coconut donut, but in liquid form.

Now I want to try their strawberries and cream flavor too, but I haven't seen it anywhere locally.
