Had to dodge the party-goers for a late dinner at Bunsen Belfast - looking forward to finding a pizza in Dublin

Sounds great & i love the idea of freezing hash patties. Great price too but I prefer the fattier point cut rather than the round. Slicing across the grain will surely help.

My first dinner was a delightful nduja and honey pizza from Pi Temple Bar, Dublin
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...647f1a0cd.jpeg However, I did it - I found the holy grail of pizza - as I walked around the city looking for a dessert, I stumbled across a slice shop with a massive queue - Bambino. What better dessert than a slice of pizza? The slice of “The Vito” with pepperoni, burrata, and basil truly changed my life for the better. I knew that life would work out. I’ll be coming back here every day that I’m in Dublin. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7005a1c9c.jpeg |

https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fba23a4838.jpg Crap at the VS lounge (Priority Pass side). Took the tuna out of the sandwich bite for a little salad. Wine was barfable. Did not finish https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f1084a3dfc.jpg Fried rice, ribs and kale salad with some respectable wine. DL Sky Club. Decent, and what made for the actual dinner. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f6d2d7fa0d.jpg DL dessert sampler. Took the cookie to go as I sampled too much! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4f588f2d92.jpg Golden Gate Lounge - close to the gate. Figured that I needed some artwork to soak up the pre-departure splash of red, so what is more artistic than a potsticker, meatball, tomato, and chicken wing in a bowl https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8273cdb784.jpg I tasted the potsticker. Fortunately I took a few wrappers and immediately re-wrapped it after taking a bite 🤮 |
I tried Doom Slice, Dublin - the crispy edge was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the cheese, sauce, or toppings
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2fc74e4bc.jpeg Had the vodka slice from Bambino, which was lovely https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...441d41e09.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0b584a542.jpeg |

What is the significance of the red lettering? I presume "FF" stands for French Fries. :)

That looks delicious! Not too bad at all. If you stay healthy, but don't eat too much pizza all the time. Only one time a month. You have to stay away from pizza. You don't want to eat too much pizza.

What I ordered was “cheeseburger, medium well, only mayo” - I’m not sure how “MY” signifies “only mayo”
I would imagine the arrow to the left of the "mayo" abbreviation has something to do with it. ;) |

Now that looks really good. I haven't had a good slice in a while so I find myself salivating just looking at the picture of a decent slice. As for myself today, I thawed two lobster tails last night in the fridge which I have spent my morning coffee time trying to figure out exactly how I want to prepare them today (was going to make Lobster Newburg but realized I don't have heavy cream, just half n half) settled on making risotto with the shells and butter poaching the unshelled tails this afternoon while watching the tournament and Derby Trail races from Turfway and Fair Grounds. |

A few days ago - a surprisingly good pizza with pepperoni, goat cheese, arugula, and spicy sauce from &pizza at IAD
A couple days ago - chicken quesadillas at Chuy’s Yesterday - carbonara ($17) from an outdoor food truck (Patrizi’s) - this was not my pick as the flies outside made eating an unpleasant experience - I’m also just not skilled at eating pasta - I guess it was good, though, pasta really isn’t my thing - the garlic bread (not pictured) was much better than the pasta https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fb75cabc5.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c3da0f3c9.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4a1d4fa48.jpeg |

Where at IAD can one find a pizza like that? Is "&pizza" the name of the establishment? What concourse?

Petit pre-departure dinner. One out of three was not good - the jamón y queso. Somewhere a rubber tree plant that once had high hopes was tapped to make the filling called "cheese."
