Not much to post lately, but I did cook dinner. I was going to grill steaks but I haven’t bought beef in months. I got to the store and, Holy Cow! So, it was mahi instead. Marinated in a mixture of olive oil, lime juice, honey, paprika, salt, black pepper for an hour. Mashed sweet potatoes with loads of butter and cinnamon. Grilled zucchini.

When I first was in Beijing in 1992, a McDonald’s opened up and it was the first time I saw crowd control queues like at an amusement park. I first had shake shack in 2020 - had to fetch the carryout while masked and then we ate it in the car in the marina while facing Alcatraz.

Finished off some pork chops I made the other day, along with some egg salad I got from Costco on Friday through TooGoodToGo. Also had a salad and harvested some basil from the garden which was wonderful.
