Now this is the thread I have been needing. I am a huge McDonald's person. Seriously, I love it. Had it twice today. But the chicken sandwich, terrible. McChicken is better.
If there is another that is worth trying that should be on the list, let me know.
#1 - Jollibee
#2 - KFC
#3 - Lee's
#4 - Zaxby's
#5 - Popeye's
#6 - Chick Fil A
#7 - Wendy's
#8 - McDonald's

The spicy one is very good. That said I do wish it came with lettuce on it like the McChicken instead of pickles.

You will need to order at the store to have the lettuce added. The app allows pickles to be removed but only allows 3 items to be added mayonnaise, cheese and bacon.

I have only had it a few times but for sure not dry. In fact, I was marveling at how crispy the chicken is and moist inside without being greasy. And the mayo also keeps it from tasking dry to me. Give it another shot.

I ordered some creamy ranch to put in the McD sandwich and even then it was quite dry and tasteless. Not getting this one again.

I got one of the fancier McChicken sandwiches with ghost pepper sauce after not having McDonalds for about 5 years. When I ordered everything, at first I couldn't believe how many items I was able to get for so cheap! Then I opened the McChicken bun.... It's nearly empty, and the patty is tiny and off to the side, in order to trick you into thinking it is bigger if you happen to only catch a glimpse of it from that angle before you eat it! Mcdonalds relies on optical illusions to have a chance of making them look like the picture on the menu, it's quite sad.
It was dry and had no taste or toppings, and looked NOTHING like the picture. Everything in the meal sucked, except for the ice cream sundae which I think is still worth it for the cheap price. The McChicken is horrible. I can't believe how McDonalds is so popular when they serve such crappy food.
My favorite chicken sandwich here in Canada is still probably the Dairy Queen Crispy Chicken with Flamethrower sauce...mmm my mouth is watering just typing it.

Some friends tried this on Sunday and they loved it. I might have to give it a try. I like that it has cole slaw on the sandwich.

Wasn't pleased with the McDonald's sandwiches. They are around $1 cheaper than the Popeye's ones but I prefer the Popeye's versions. The KFC version costs as much as Popeye's but was dry, won't bother getting that one again. Just about as good as the Popeye's sandwiches are the ones from Jollibee's. And those are 50 cents cheaper, too. But Popeye's is more convenient for me so it remains my go-to.

There are several Jollibee's in the Bay Area, and I'd say the fried chicken and the spaghetti are comparable to what you get in the Philippines. In fact, the fried chicken here is some of the best fried chicken around.
The pancit palabok here is good, but not as good as over there.
And I tried a burger here once, and will never order a burger there again. It was pretty much awful.

My vote goes to the chicken sandwich at Federal Donuts in Philadelphia. https://www.federaldonuts.com/menu/center-city
