Eastbay, your original spelling is correct (the one with 2 “p”s) . Crapy has to do with fabric.

I think you mean Goo Goo Clusters. The first time I had them was when I went to a business meeting in Nashville where they were given out as a Welcome to Nashville treat.

I was thinking about this thread and whether we truly have crappy chocolate here in the UK. I think the answer is yes however, I tend to avoid shops that sell it so never get to see it or buy it.

If I'm in a store and they have Green and Blacks, I'll buy a 100g bar (or two).

Thats why I clarified it as the one with 2 ps , as it is in the body of your post.

Heresy.

Last time I tried a Whitman's Sampler I was in high school, so not recently.

I'd rather bake a quality chocolate dessert than eat inferior, Walgreen's level "chocolates"

meh...I hate it when stores don't go straight to 50% off. I was a little late getting to cvs this morning and lots of empty shelves and I had to settle for some that weren't my first choice. Oh well....good stash until Easter.

Then you're cheating. I counted about 18 bars in the picture, which should last more than a month if you're eating just one half every day.

Jeez. Tough crowd. I am not cheating. A half every morning...no more or less.
I just replenish when the stack gets down to about 4 packages of 3. I don't want to get in the situation again where I am prowling Trader Joe stores like a junkie.

My daily "got to" is Lindt dark caramel and sea salt. One square a day after lunch.

But when i get to the US my other "drugstore" chocolate favourites are the brand Divine, their raspberry and orange/ginger flavours are delicious.

Also on much missed US trips is Trader Joe's dark peanut butter cups. Yum. I dream of TJ visits.

Correct, my post auto corrected when I didn't have a space. There is another smaller candy company in Nashville which made s a peanut butter, nut and chocolate cup. I saw this candy passing through airport in Nashville a couple of years ago.
