Referencing the Omni thread. ...you call that eating too much? That's practically starvation.

I don't really care for sandwiches, and am trying to limit my carb intake anyways. I live close enough to home that I can go there for lunch, but whatever I make needs to be done in like 5-10 minutes. So I usually rely on frozen meatballs, or lately those chicken fingers from Trader Joes and pour a little melted butter with dried chives and garlic powder mixed in - a deconstructed chicken Kiev. But I too need more ideas.

Chicken, shrimp, onion, pak choi, chicken or fish stock with grated cauliflower.
Low carb and tasty.
I also add some lemongrass and/or kaffir lime leaves to give it a SE Asian vibe.

Leftover carved turkey breast on pumpernickel with whole berry cranberry sauce spread on the bread. Lettuce and tomato. Diet A&W root beer. Lactose free Breyers vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Mrs. BV comes home this evening and I can stop going home at lunchtime to walk the dog. I plan to eat less tomorrow than I have with the whole fridge contents staring at me.

I used to work across the Dumbarton bridge. Every time I'd get taken out to lunch when visiting HQ in Menlo we'd go to the same place. I think it was called California Caf? Nice place but what about variety?

The one on the Stanford Campus? Looks like it's closed now. I used to walk over from my office at the medical center.
