Urbanspoon alternative
Does anyone have a good alternative now that urbanspoon has been taken offline? Like many here, I travel weekly, often to new cities. I liked that I could open the urbanspoon app and see real restaurant reviews rather than just crowd sourced info. I particularly liked that I could see if there were any Beard winners or Michelin starred restaurants in town, and get the top lists from the local food writers and the crew at Eater. I can't seem to find that info all put together now. I'm having to go to 4 or 5 places to find out what the best restaurants in town are.

I used to use www.chowhound.com and https://forums.egullet.org/
a lot, but haven't been on those for quite some time.

I've always been a fan of Gayot.com but that will only help in the larger metros. They do professional reviews and have found them to be pretty spot on. I've found anything that's ranked 14-15/20 are very good restaurants and 13/20 for more budget spots usually means very good. They have good writeups and you can search by area, zip code, price, cuisine, etc. I also like that in each city they have a "hot restaurants" with 10 of the more popular or new restaurants in the city.
I always use a few sources though. Yelp, Gayot, and the restaurant web page itself. Yelp reviews you have to take with a grain of salt, but I like browsing pictures to get a good feel for the atmosphere inside and dishes.

Zomato is pretty popular in the UK and quite a few other countries around the world.
