At the right Denny's, it can be very pleasant.

I also like Taiwanese stinky tofu but I cannot find it where I'm located now. It's probably my preference for aged and strong smelling cheeses that makes me willing to try other smelly food.

I love a good PB&J. But its mention here reminds me of my favorite way to eat one, which probably belongs in this thread: Open it up, layer it with plenty of Pringles (plain ol' original), smoosh the two halves together, and enjoy the sweet-salty-crunchy goodness.

I saw scrapple on the Food Network, totally grossed me out but I want to try it anyway. Seems like "fresh" "spam" to me...

Marie Callender's Frozen Chicken Pot Pies are remarkably tasty, and cook nicely with crispy crusts in microwaves. Sometimes I just can't get out of the office for lunch....

Fast food Mexican (esp. Taco John's). I just can't resist. The meat is low-grade, the cheese questionable, but the taste can't be beat.

When I went to the USA for the first time, I ate at Sizzler, and I was really impressed by the quality of the salad bar (compared to places back home). When I raved about the place to one of my American friends, he laughed at me and told me it was just a generic chain.

I still can't wait to go back to the States in June and visit Sizzler again

I'll admit that I find the Sizzler salad bar more than satisfying, however I don't order anything else there.

Note: I can only speak for their salad bars in Southern California & Arizona, other locations (especially during winter months) are a crapshoot.

Here goes:

- Kraft Mac 'n Cheese (the blue box stuff)
- Homemade mac & cheese casserole with condensed cream of mushroom soup (which is the only way I'll willingly eat mushrooms)
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
- Spaghetti-O's WITHOUT the nasty meatballs. Can't stand those little, yucky meatballs.
- Astoria, OR Cinnamon Toast. It's also known as "Korpus" in Finland. (admitting it reminds me that I need to make a trip to Astoria to get some more, too...)

Another chain for me... Hometown Buffet. It's so low brow... but sometimes it really hits the spot.

(I'd actually vote for Old Country Buffet, but there are none here in SoCal).
