You beat me to it! Granny Smith, rock hard, cold and sour - yes!

None raw. Granny Smith or Pippins in a pie or crisp.

Any type, but I've gotten accustomed to getting full off of the massive "red apples" found in Japanese department stores. Is it true that Granny Smiths' can help alleviate headaches?

Raw-Fuji, Honey crisps or Pink Crisps. In a pie-it has to be Granny Smiths.

What kind of apple do you like?

Golden delicious. Granny Smith has perfect texture but way too sour

MY preferred apple is Vinegar, both apple cider vinegar, and just apple vinegar :)

If you have a farmer's market near you, try to find a Goldrush; truly an exceptional apple.

Only if apples can grow well in your farmer's market regional limits :(

I love my farmer's market, there almost every week, but there are some things just missing there, like good tart cherries, and cooler climate variety fruits like apples, we can get some good pears, but they just aren't an APPLE.

Early season Egremont Russets. Wonderful apples, just the right balance between sweet and sharp, and with a crisp, slightly crumbly texture. They make a distinctive juice, too.
