Egremont russets, especially the sharper, early season ones. Shame the season is short :(

Fuji ... especially when accompanied by a thick smear of extra crunchy peanut butter.

Everyone knows green apples (especially Granny Smith) are the best

I like Honeycrisp, personally, but they are so huge in the supermarket here that I can barely finish one. They were not always this large in the past, so I'm not sure what happened there.

the HONEYCRISP is the Golden God of Apples. There is NOTHING like it. It's SOOOOO scrumptious

Honeycrisps are it! But only seasonal in my area. I once brought a bunch to a family retreat. Amazing how many comments, such as "i've never had such a great apple". I love, love, love em. And when they're gone - I usually don't eat any other - my devotion to her is so strong.

What kind of apple do you like?

I've always been a Fuji man, myself. Honeycrisps are also good. Lately, however, I find Fuji apples a little too sweet. What kind of apple should I try for a crisp, sweet-but-not-too-sweet treat?

Pink Lady & Honeycrisp are my favorites. I prefer tart-sweet over sweet-sweet apples. (In other words, I avoid the Delicious varieties and others of that ilk.)

Pink Lady is #1 in my book.

Honeycrisp are my favorite, but Cameo might be a nice one for you to try.

I like Gala apples when it comes to buying apples in the U.S.

Honey crisp are my favorites. Macouns are my second favorite.
