The latest review on my blog is the Alfredo Chicken Burger from McDonald's Taiwan. Sounded promising, but the execution failed it.

I like chicken, and I don't mind waffles, but I certainly don't want them together.

No wonder obesity levels rise when people feel they have to have some kind of sweetened pancake as bread on a chicken sandwich.

-plate
-waffle (not "sweetened pancake")
-fried chikin
-powdered sugar
-syrup
-strawberries

Breakfast Klub in IAH concourse A is a great joint

I was in Copenhagen last weekend and at one point was really thirsty. I saw a McDonalds and went in to get a soda and figured I had to try something while I was there:

The Grovburger was pretty good, especially on a weekend where I was eating a ton of seafood.

The McLobster is still around (although it is only seasonal). In Maine, they call it a "Lobster Sandwich" (boring...) but in the Martimes, we tell it like it is and call it a McLobster (or McHomard en francais). I've actually seen tourists posing for photos beside the advertising posters! I agree that there are better lobster rolls, but for the price, they are pretty reasonable. I seldom eat at McDonalds but make an exception for these.

Looks like 'Grilled Chicken' from the full-size photo. Is there something particularly Danish about it?

Sorry I was trying to take it on the sly, I've had employees get mad at me for taking pictures of their boards before. If you can read Danish, this page seems to describe the burger :D

San Diego, it's the big mac sauce with Sriracha added to it. It was good with a kick. I was told that Canada has it also.

I saw today that in the South Florida market they introduced the Big Mac Jr. and the Grand Mac. They both use larger patties than the original Big Mac (1/6 lb. vs 1/10 lb.) along with the original ingredients. I guess McD's has added another sized meat patty to their mix or the 1/4 lb. patty may be no more?

I tried the Mac Jr. today, and it seemed a little dry. They put sauce on both the top and bottom bun. From the bottom up-Bun heel, Mac Sauce, Cheese, 1/6 lb. meat patty (before cooking), reconstituted onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, Mac Sauce and Bun Crown. The lettuce seemed overwhelming and half of it ended on my lap after opening the wrapper. (I was eating in my car while plane watching at MIA)

I had suggested numerous times when I worked for them in the 80's and 90's, as well as a consumer after that, that they should try a "Super Mac" with 2 1/4 lb. patties instead of the smaller patties as the people who wanted more beef would probably like it (like me) without having to change much to the kitchen set-up. (This was also around the time of Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" campaign.) It could have been priced pointed above the Double QPC.
