My favorite, the El Maco Burger. It comes with salsa, sour cream and nacho cheese and tortilla chips. I got this in Bergen, Norway. |
I get so jealous with everyone's unique Mcdonald's menus. Here in the Philippines, Mcdonald's is pretty basic and does not have big servings compared to others.

Saw Nasi Mc D or some such in Malaysia. Too focussed on local eateries to even contemplate trying.
Line ups for the drive-thrus seem to be as long there as they are at home. https://www.mcdonalds.com.my/nasimcd |
Last summer in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo I saw poster ads for Durian McFlurry made with real D24 (a variety of durian). As a non-lover of any kind of durian and fan of artisanal ice cream, I was not tempted at all to try it.

The two-for-one “Sundae Bloody Sundae” promotion was heavily criticized on social media. A spokesperson for McDonald’s Portugal said the ads were not intended to be an “insensitive reference to any historical event,” according to a statement emailed to CNBC on Thursday. ... https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/31/mcdo...promotion.html https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ee607f3a8e.jpg |

I wish here in England we did all-day breakfast like our Aussie counterparts

Not a menu item, but this McDonalds in Porto, Portugal may be of interest. Mickey D wanted to use a building that had been a high class restaurant and had beautiful decorations. Unsurprisingly, this generated opposition! In a settlement, McDonalds agreed to retain the beloved features. Kind of bizarre though!

I arrived into Helsinki last Sunday evening. Seemingly every restaurant is closed on Sundays in Helsinki and then I saw this ad:

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned any previous UK pilots for this but it looks like McDonald's is going to have vegan items there starting next month. FWIW, I liked the Impossible Whopper when it was released in the US, so we'll see how people take to McDonald's offerings.
(Speaking of which, it seems that restaurants are rolling out vegan stuff elsewhere before the US. Not sure if it's because there are fewer people asking for such here or if there's some other reason. That's probably a separate thread regardless.) |

Go local and hit up Hess Burger or Koti Pizza :D. Is that the McD on the pedestrian way right off Esplanadi near Hotel Kamp? I so, I have to sadly confess to nursing hangovers with takeaway from there on more than one occasion.

I understand there would be more than a few people, especially those whose first language is not English, who don't understand the cultural undertones of that song, but, you'd think someone along the CoC would have double checked. |
