Shuttle bonuses etc.
I have some Delta dollars to use and I was thinking of taking the shuttle to LGA tomorrow to spend the day in NYC. With the Shuttle bonus, the "we'll supply your demand" 2500 bonus, the Amex 2009 double miles bonus, and my 100% Gold medallion bonus, am I current that I should earn 13500 miles from a rd trip Shuttle flight?

1000-actual flight miles
1000-gold medallion bonus
1000-AMEX double miles
2500-bonus for rd trip before 9/3
5000-bonus for two Shuttle segments (@2500 each)
hmmm ok, so more like 10500?

Hm...at $220...2.75 cents/mi? Less and less appealing. Thanks for the heads up; I missed the fine print on that one.

the 2500 bonus miles for the shuttle is just 2500 for the RT not 5000 unless the offer is different for golds.

so i've taken 4 eligible BOS-LGA shuttles and have not received any of the 5k bonuses yet...i took a BOS-DCA (non shuttle i thought) last week and immediately received the 5k bonus...anyone else not have their points posting yet?

My BOS-DCA RT shuttle posted quickly, even though there was talk that one wouldn't receive the bonus unless one connected through LGA. I actually considered doing that (for even more MQMs and more bonus shuttle miles)... until I remembered that I would be flying with my 2-year old. As much as he loves flying (and does well on most flights), the quicker it's over, the better (for me, anyway).

Can anyone provide some insight into this promotion? Is it new or have I been living in a cave? I did an FT search and the only link that came up with relevant info was this one.

There is a little lag in the posting. I've nerver received the bonus for DCA-BOS. I expect the 2500 is for one of your shuttle flights.
