Pay With Miles and new Amex
I used this link to sign up for an INSTANT Amex card, and was approved.
Pay With Miles is not showing up as an option on any flights. How does it know you are DL Amex customer?
FYI, I put the new credit card number in the user profile.

I think it takes 1-2 weeks to register the card.

It's funny how differently some people define "INSTANT" and "TODAY".

How do you know your SM account is flagged as Amex cardmember?
Is there an obvious indicator of Amex membership when you log in to your SkyMiles account?
Something other than trying to book a flight and being offered Pay with Miles or award booking fees waived.
I spoke with an Amex representative, and she made sure things were configured correctly on their end (they weren't, she fixed it).
Then she even called Delta to let them know, and she said they said that even though the information was now correctly entered, that it would take "1 to 2 days" for the features to be available.

Yes - when you log in, in your box at the top right hand corner, under your mileage balance and Medallion status should be green "Pay with Miles".
Also, when you search for fares, flights which are DL or NW operated should say "Pay with Miles eligible".

As it is, I think I'm pretty close to pulling it off. The Amex agent forced it through on her end, and I'm eager to log on in the morning to see if the option appears.
