Im so glad DL is bringing this back...my main question is can we get more than three? US gives like 8-12 if I remember, and Im pretty sure DL has many more friendly employees than US IMO.

Does it mean the Above & Beyond certificate I've left is no good anymore ?
I've been saving it for the truly exceptional DL employee...

When I run across the truly exceptional employees, I write a letter. Did that last winter complementing the entire crew of a flight and sent it to Anderson's office. Got both a phone call from DL and a letter from Anderson's office (his signature... or a good facsimile) indicating that they would pass it along to the crew.

Much better way to thank the exceptional employees and crew.

^ ^ And that's something that can be done for mainline or Delta connection employees.

The "Above and Beyond" program was over in 2004. The current MyDeltaRewards platform allows employees to earn points from a varitey of programs. In addition to this customer program, there is an internal peer to peer recognition program along with other programs which allow everyone in the org to earn points. Points can be redeemed for LOTS of things - including hotel stays, gift certs and merchandise.

I just got mine yesterday. I have a great friend of our family who is a mechanic and does a great job. I wonder if I can give him one...
