Thanks for any clarification
Assuming there is in fact an airside shuttle between the two terminals, I don't see why they wouldn't check in and go through security at T2, go to the CRC there, and then take the airside shuttle to T4 to catch your flight.

If they ask why you can explain you want to use the CRC in T2 (or one of the ones in T3)...

If they STILL give you a problem you could ALWAYS go through security at T4, take the shuttle over to T2/3...go to a CRC and then take the shuttle back...

But if you show up at T2/3 I can't image they would send you back to T4 to clear security there... Again this all assumes there is an airside shuttle between T2/3 and T4...

Going back and forth between Terminals is kind of a pain. But if there's time, sure. Shuttles are discussed in this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...eaving-t4.html

Since gate assignments aren't final until your departure day (sometimes hours before departure, YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE that your flight leaves from T3 and not T2.

This is a common misconception about DL's facilities at JFK. Bottom line is it's no more than 15 minutes to get from one end of T2 to the other end of T3, so definitely use the Medallion/Premium checkin at T2, regardless of your gate assignment.

That would be me. I spoke to SMS, who called JFK on my behalf and assured me there would be an airside shuttle. I guess I'll believe it when I see it, and I will report back when I'm there Monday afternoon.

Excellent! Please do that and post (to the other thread) what the word is.

I guess in addition to find out (for sure) that there will be a shuttle, it would be good to know its route and the time table.

Specifically if a CRC member arrives at JFK early, can they cross security at T2/3 to use a CRC and then take the shuttle over?

The merger had me sad that I'd have to give up the Oasis lounge in the clean/new T4 for CRC's at JFK, but the news about the LAX flights is great!

(Sorry Michelle Bernstein, but I prefer the Oasis' samosas and butter chicken over your cold ham and burnt butter pasta salad.

I agree, T3 check-in/security is a nightmare. I always use T2, regardless of which terminal my flight leaves from.
