Partner Award Problems with Delta Site

For the last week I have been trying to secure partner award tickets on AF through the DL site . After selecting the available flights I get the following message:

We're sorry. One or more of the flights you selected just sold out. Please search again to view and select alternate flights.

The message is not correct and is not displayed when all flights are DL. Anyone had a similar problem or know what the problem is?

I've been getting the same message for the last 3 weeks-- ever since they launched the 3-tier system. I thought it was whenever I attempt to book a multiple-city itinerary instead of a simple round-trip. I wonder, though, whether I was attempting to select a partner segment. Others have reported the same error when they select 'multiple dates' instead of 'exact dates'. I worked with tech support: at first they gave me a reason for the error that had nothing to do with what I was attempting, showing that they completely misunderstood the nature of my problem. After I pointed this out, the guy got snippy and told me that if I'm having a problem then I'll need to book the award ticket by phone.

I've been having this same problem with a multi-city award and finally gave up trying to do it online-will have to call.

I have never been able to book an award that uses non-DL metal on any of the segments. Another bogus way to get us to call and pay the booking fee....also can't hold the award tickets when calling in.
