Booked flights then Delta changed schedule which caused short connections

I found Skysaver award tickets for my wife, daughter and I to Hawaii a couple of months ago. The original schedule was to depart HNL and arrive in LAX at 6:15am and leave LAX at 7:30am. Now Delta has changed the schedule to arrive in LAX from HNL at 6:36am and leave LAX at 7:15am. I'm wondering if anyone thinks this will be a problem and if so what can I do to rectify the situation?

39 minutes should be plenty of time at LAX. If not, it's early in the morning and you have all day to make it to your destination.

Agreed. All the DL flights leave from the same gate area. Not going to take more then 3-4 minutes at MOST to walk to your gate.

A 39-minute DL-DL connection at LAX is fine, with the usual caveat that the flights are on time. If you miss your flight and there's only one or 2 flights a day -- or those flights are full -- you might end up losing 1/2 or 1 day of your vacation.

Before accepting this change, you might want to find out when the next flight is and how full it is, just to know how inconvenient a misconnect would be.
