Delta upgrades from Hyatt

Delta upgrades from Hyatt
I was going to post this question in the Hyatt board, but considering the small amount of traffic there, I figured I might have better luck here ...
I have yet to get one, but on the award chart for Hyatt Gold Passport, when you get an upgrade certificate for Hyatt, they also send you an upgrade certificate for a round trip upgrade on Delta.
Has anyone ever used one of these upgrades or gotten one? I'm wondering what the restrictions are on this.
For only 3,000 Gold Passport points, the round trip upgrade alone would probably be worth the points, and the Hyatt upgrade would just be gravy ...
