Every time someone posts here asking for info about buddy passes, I feel like we have a 50/50 shot of them posting again 6 months later because they're stuck in some faraway place with no way to get home and the guy who sold them the buddy pass on eBay won't respond to email or something.
Moral of the story: If you have to ask FT for buddy pass info, you probably shouldn't be using that buddy pass. |

As already provided, the Delta Destinations link on DL’s website provides the primary answer. However, I would talk to whomever is sponsoring your buddy pass to find out if there are any advisories or restrictions for non-rev travel to wherever you’re considering going.

Well you would be incorrect. I am looking for the list to decide where in the world I would like to go.. not because I don't know how buddy passes work. Constructive replies would be appreciated.
Basically, if you're looking for replies that are more specific and constructive to your needs, you need to go to the correct source, and that is the person sponsoring your pass. |
You need to be looking at flights on Delta metal, not code shares that also happen to have Delta flight numbers. The person sponsoring your pass can help you with this.

I am looking for the full list because I want to pick and choose where I go. I haven't decided yet.

Additionally, as also noted, you'll want to look for DL metal operated flights (DL mainline and DL Connection); the timetables may also give codeshare flights that you won't actually be able to list for. |

Can't it also be used on some JV flights, e.g. KLM?

If you knew how they worked and had a sponsor, you wouldn't be asking these questions. There are changes that have been made due to abuse of Buddy Passes and I believe that you'll find that even employees that you know are more reluctant to give them out. I don't use them but in discussions I've had about them with employees I know, most have said that they won't give them anymore. In most cases they're no cheaper then discount fares and those come with a guarantee of a flight and a seat. My recommendation is that you come up with a few exotic places that you'd like to go to and don't restrict yourself to DL, that you research fare sales, consolidator and other REPUTABLE discount ticket and package sources. You might find that your overall trip is less expensive when you factor in lodging and other travel expenses. If you go to the airport and don't get on the flight you're expecting to be on, what will your additional expenses be? You can't make any plans or non-refundable reservations since you have no travel guarantee. |

Try this link that displays the flight map and exclude code shares. It gives you a close estimate of flights from a particular starting point. And,try being a little more accepting or at least less judgmental of advice that you actually solicit when you get it.

Gotta love the new member who post a question and gets aggressive, nothing says joining a community like acting poorly for the initial impression. Now someone, I don't care who, spend your valuable time putting together a full list of Delta destinations that an individual traveling on a buddy pass can visit. It's imperative that they be able to quickly select a destination for their leisure travel. Also I need someone to carry my bags tomorrow on and off the plane, possibly even from when I arrive at the airport- DYKWIA???

So a relative of mine, who is a retired Delta employee, issued me a buddy pass a a couple years ago to go from DTW-VCE. I ended up being very sick that summer and could not make the trip. I remember thinking that the $500 in fees to use the buddy pass seemed high. So I have a couple questions. I read that the system for buddy pass payment and fees has been revised this year. What would a buddy pass fee for this route be for this summer? I have one relative that retired from NWA (Delta) 15+ years ago (she started working for Braniff airlines back in the early 70's. I also have another cousin that CURRENTLY works for Delta (since 2014). Which one should I ask a buddy pass for? Do the buddy pass fees differ for retired vs active employees? What about stand-by pecking order? Thanks for your assistance?
