They have no intention of doing that.....it forces the state/county to pay for certain things we'd rather not pay for (not that we can't afford to...and not that we're not going to be rolling in the $$$ once we forcibly annex Geist)

Although you can use any New York City area airport, Newark Airport is by far the most convenient to Jersey City.

I understand that Newark Airport was almost officially renamed Death Airport.

Patrick Henry was allegedly charged with officially naming the airport. Apparently known for his reputation of being narrow-minded, only two choices immediately came to his mind in terms of renaming Newark Airport.

He was quoted as saying, “Give me Liberty or give me Death.”

Newark is also home of the taxi way traffic jams......I've spend 90 mins taxing to the runway before on many an occasion..........I HATE that airport....if you can get a flight into LGA that would be my option, easy in easy out (if you dont' mind a 90 min taxi to the runway then EWR would be best....fyi it's the airport I do use the most)

Thanks, I have been watching the pre-Idol show on TV Guide channel for the last little bit. Maybe they are just going to broadcast that Fox too for the last half hour but I will check it out.

Yes, there are other shows I like. I like the TV show Las Vegas a lot too. I just can see paying extra for HBO when I am never home. Hurricane season will be here soon and I will have to start watching TWC more again.

This has a registered trademark because it is now the official mantra when things do not happen as we would like them to happen.

Delta Air Lines did not give you an upgrade today? If You Don’t Like It, Blame socrates®.

Are you tired of the chatter pertaining to American Idle in this thread? If You Don’t Like It, Blame socrates®.

Did you complain yet again about the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the Travel Safety/Security forum and get banned from FlyerTalk yet again by Cholula as a result? If You Don’t Like It, Blame socrates®.

Did you get assaulted yet again for a free donation of Delta Air Lines SkyMiles for the Dovster? If You Don’t Like It, Blame socrates®.

Wow — this really works!

I suppose this is true, but then you have to deal with the crosstown traffic through New York, which is an aggravation in and of itself, not to mention the time and cost of getting to Jersey City from LaGuardia Airport, which would include tolls.

I would stick with Death Airport —

er — I mean Newark Airport — in this case...
