Bloody hell - I get home and we are on a boil water before use advisory. I will stick to Gin and Tonic.

Why is it that last night, for the first night in a week, I managed to snag more than 6 hours of sleep, yet today, I'm ready for a nap?

Sadly, no. You can use direct message on Twitter to contact @DeltaAssist if you don't want to call, but it's not displayed anywhere.

Welcome to FT!

Drank all the Woodford on my flight last night. I also completely forgot DL doesn't serve meals after 8pm on mid-range flights. We left at 8:12. Bananas and chips from the snack basket don't exactly make the most wholesome dinner, but at least I had bourbon.

We are creatures of habit, our body ingrains our habits. That is why we also have jetlag.

The Delta Forum Lounge Thread — Everybody is Welcome!

Quiet lounge this weekend. We discovered a burst pipe (actually a hole in a 90 degree elbow) in our crawl space just as we were getting ready to go to dinner last night. I couldn't get the pipes apart, so we had to get a plumber to come out. It was an unpleasant unexpected expense, but at least we caught it before any permanent damage.

Sorry to hear about that. How did you discover it?

I'd like to develop one of those.

Mrs P. heard it first. It sounded like the washing machine was running...except it wasn't the washing machine. We opened the crawlspace door, and there it was gushing water.

That is a good indicator of a leak!

I had a similar issue a few years ago. Amongst all the commotion of dinner and friends, I heard a unfamiliar noise coming from the basement. We have a pump in our well and the hose came off just before the pressure tank.

Of course the pressure tank kept calling for water and the pump kept sending it.

Turning off the breaker stopped that issue and new fittings will prevent that again.

Back on US Soil. Yet again got the dreaded X on the automated CBP form and yet again (3 times this year after zero for 14 years) got secondary screening at agriculture. Just a carry on bag so not sure what they were expecting to find. In ATL T Skyclub BTW.
