Be sure to give me a shout, and we can grab a drink when you are in town (pending, crazy schedules and such).
We will. So far the availability looks good. We're hopeful of a 1/3 arrival and 1/7 departure.

We're off to the airport now, last trip of the year. MSY-LGA and back on Thursday LGA-MSP-MSY.

A few in my family but wow - not that many. Brother in law married a Jewess from Northern Galilee and my sister married a Jew from the same area. So quite a few half Israeli/half English nephews and nieces.

Not sure I agree with that - we have had a lot of "GROANS" in the lounge and I am pretty sure most of them happened

We're trying to get away for a few days after New Year's but that'll depend mostly on the weather forecast for AMS. If it's going to be rainy and cold, we'll stay home.
Sounds busy. We'll have something similar. Big dinner at a family friend of my in-laws on Christmas Eve and spending the night at the in-laws' house. In the morning we'll do gifts and breakfast with them (and wife's sister) and then drive to my parents' house where we'll have dinner and a bigger celebration with my immediate family, grandmother, aunt, uncle, and cousins. The next day we head to the airport for our trip to Norway/Netherlands!

I love our families, but sometimes I wish they didn't live so close to each other so we could visit one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas rather than having both mothers arguing about how much time we want to spend with each. And if we want to visit any of our friends from high school or college while we're in town...oh how dare we?
