757 Exit Rows?

My wife and I were upgraded to C+ at booking and there were only a few seats left. We are traveling with a service dog, who is not allowed in exit rows. The seat selection tool shows row 19 as an exit row, but I am wondering if that is only on the left side of the plane? Has anyone had success in an agent opening 17B and 17C before actually being at the airport? We are also waitlisted RUC (as a DM) for this flight so I am wondering if it is not worth worrying about until we are a few days out.

Call in and speak with an agent. 17b/c are reserved for pax that have similar situations to yourself so they should open those seats for you.
