Difficulty checking in

I have an Air France ticket but I'm travelling on Delta. I'm trying to check in and it's telling me that they are not able to digitally check my information. It hink the problem is that the field for my first name as the suffix Mr (for mister) and it doesn't match my passport. Is there something I can do to fix this? My flight is tomorrow.

Are you departing from the US or from Europe?

For ex-Europe flights, the ticket is managed by Air France even if you are on Delta metal so it may be a system sync issue.

Even if US, you should be able to resolve it at the airport, just make sure you arrive early so you don't run into any check-in cutoff issues.

This happens to me most times when I apply a RUC. Regardless of the reason, I'd advise calling. They've always been able to fix the issue, and it saves me from standing in that slow-moving special assistance line.

They can't "digitally" check your information? Are the going to pull your paper ticket and cross check it with the ledger behind the counter?

But I wouldn't worry, for some reason I can almost never check in online for a international flight. Just take care of it the airport. You do have an actual ticket, and just a PNR right?

Doesn’t this sometimes also happen if you’re randomly selected for SSSS (if you’re flying ex-Europe to the US)? I forget the exact message but when it’s happened to me I got a message saying I couldn’t check in online and would need to do so at the airport.

It's actually not linked to my name as I search on delta.com with my name (without the Mr) and the reservation came up. The problem is I'm flying from Canada through US to Amsterdam and we still need to show our vaccination to get in the US. I haven't flown with Delta for 3 years so my vaccine certificate is not in the system. When I check in, it doesn't ask for it (which is weird) and it's not able to validate my admissibility to enter the US. I'll take care of it at the airport. I do see my boarding pass on the phone app now but instead of the QR in the middle, it says document check required at airport. Thanks for the help.
