Or SkyMiles Member, since GM= general member could be confused with Gold.

Oh, I see, but it's not always that way, I did an award ticket for 108,000 miles + 130 in taxes and got 1080 MQD but the revenue fare would earn 1370 MQD.

Delta seems to (re)price award tickets on a regular basis--so the $ vs award/10 can change every few minutes.

Wondering the same as well--by EOY I'll have 164k MQMs and around 10K MQDs--and there seems to be an MQD run I can do in December for less than $2k that can get me to DM status.
