Skyclub access as ITA Voltaire executive (Elite plus)
Hey all,
Im flying a DL itinerary in J to MEX. I know normally I wouldnt have access to the skyclub via class of service alone, but as a skyteam elite plus via ITA, would I get skyclub access? Based on the skyteam website, I should since its an international itinerary, and I seem to be getting that gist from the DL website too, but again, who knows how this plays out in practice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yep, absolutely seems like the airline is in this weird place. I cant even add my ITA FF number to my DL reservation (it simply doesnt give me an option for ITA), so we shall see

If your credentials - boarding pass - online ITA card, etc. - spell out SkyTeam ElitePlus, you should be good. You might get an initial deny by a lounge dragon only used to dealing with domestic passengers (I was initially denied access in my local LAX airport when flying AF!), but you can politely remind them that you are a STE and as such you have access to ST lounges in (most) international itineraries.
