In the RDU area, NWS is saying rain on Thursday will become flurries overnight before tapering, and then another system will move in Friday morning with the normal mix of snow/sleet/freezing rain based on location.
It's still too soon to accurately predict amounts and p-type, but the best guess right now is 2" of snow Friday. That's enough to shut the entire area down if it holds.
