Last night (Monday). PM on an award ticket, bought the ticket about 55 hours before the first leg.
5pm ORD-ATL (321) - 3rd of 9 for 2, but C+ was mostly empty so it didn't really matter
late night ATL-RDU (757) - didn't clear into C+ because I wanted an aisle, but then did clear into F early Sunday morning.

I wondered if any earned DM or PM flying today or tomorrow has seen a "bump" in their position on the complimentary upgrade list from what they would otherwise consider "normal." I guess we have to trust in the system to recognize this tiebreaker from hereon.

1/21 SFO-BOS
Myself: Gold on U Fare - upgraded to F at T-48
Partner: Silver on U Fare - upgraded to F at T-24
There were 0 on Upgrade List for 4 F seats at boarding, and flight went out with 5 (of 20) empty F seats.
PDBs offered on flight!
2/1 BOS-SFO
Myself: Gold on X Fare - upgraded to C+ at around T-70 and F at around T-54
Partner: Silver on X Fare - upgraded to C+ at T-24, and was 3 of 3 for 2 F at boarding.
We ending up trading seats and I had all of Row 15 in C+ to myself.
The original return itinerary was BOS-DTW-SFO on 1/30 but BOS-DTW canceled due to snow. For data points I was upgraded to C+ on BOS-DTW at T-72 (with about 2 F open) and F on DTW-SFO at around T-48 before I had to reschedule on morning of 1/29.

PM, relatively cheap Saturday night fare (probably V or X, not sure right now)
ORD-DTW 717 cleared at window, went out with an empty seat in F
DTW-RDU 717 cleared at window although only row 1 was available at that point.

From this and other posts it does not sound promising for a PM on JFK-SFO

I think he meant that he was 3rd of 21 for the UG list on his LAX-JFK flight. I agree that 3 of 21 for upgrades wouldn't be a very good ratio as a DM; I think that's about what I was batting as a GM in 2019 before mercifully making PM.

I'm earned PM and don't fly anything special, mostly SLC-PDX and one paid international D1 a year. So my upgrades are probably small potatoes but:
SLC-PDX 3 Feb: partner and I automatically upgraded to FC T120
PDX-SLC 6 Feb: partner and I automatically upgraded to FC I think T60 (it was some time in the middle of the night)
Side note - last year was the first year I've had status (also my first year with a co-branded card so I think that was the ticket), and I made platinum in October. I've flown 9 legs since I made platinum, 2 were an international trip so no upgrade (or room for upgrade as I paid for D1), 5 were SLC-PDX-SLC (upgraded all 5 times) and 2 were SLC-LAS-SLC and I upgraded one of those but it was a red-eye (return was afternoon and I was pretty far down on the list). So for my purposes it's been a nice thing to have. Trying to think of a strategic use for my RUC in combo with the companion passes I'll get from the AmEx reserve.
