Long time since I flew this close to the rear bathrooms and cannot recall the last middle seat flight of this duration.

Rollover DM, X fare BOS-RSW 29 August 737-800. Cleared to C+ at booking; cleared to F at T-120 window (12 of 16 F seats available before upgrade window opened, looks like 5 upgrades cleared at the T-120 window).
T fare RSW-BOS 30 August 737-800. Cleared to C+ at booking; cleared to F at T-120 window (8 of 16 F seats available before upgrade window opened, looks like 5 upgrades cleared at the T-120 window).

My UPG percents have gotten better maybe 50% recently now that summer vacation in ending, that is mid to high fare class tickets. Earlier this year I was on B & Y only and was averaging less then 25%.

I'm sitting at 10% upgrade rate as a PM for First (on a challenge that I'll successfully complete in the next 1-2 flights, so don't know if that puts me lower down the totem pole). Highish fare classes. Mainly flights to and from MSP. I've also FCM'd a few flights so don't know if I would have gotten an upgrade on those but I doubt it. Almost 100% rate for Comfort+ though.

I just got upgraded to F on 8/30 for my 48 minute ATL-VPS flight. Hurrah for a ginger ale in a real glass? 2 open F for the GRR-ATL leg, where I’m sure I’ll end up 21 of 55 for 2 like usual.

I just burned a RUC on MCI-LAX next week as Diamond. The available seats were dwindling day by day and at T-120 (Diamond upgrade window) available seats were at zero. MCI has been getting hard to get an upgrade out of even as a Diamond.

I just got my first ever battlefield upgrade. ATL-DFW. DL 1505. Fell asleep in 10D during boarding, and the gate agent tapped me and confirmed my name. They then handed me a boarding pass for 10D crossed out in red marker replaced with a hand written 5A without saying anything.

It took me a moment to understand what was happening but I slept a bit better!

Earned PM w/ Reserve, traveling with companion
8/27 OGG-SEA C+ at booking, was 5/6 out of 24 for 1 seat in FC with RUC applied
8/28 SEA-ORD FC w/ RUC, but as a data point for others, 5 were UG to F at the gate out of a list of 12

ATL-CVG - 14 open before the 120hrs window. At the window 7 cleared, and despite being earned Platinum this year and Reserve holder and having booked a long time ago, I was not among them, so either a lot of Diamonds or a lot of Platinum who bought fares higher than L. And yes, there are still 7 for sale, so not just a case of unselected seats from sold tickets.

Earned PM + Reserve card in L fare

DTW-RIC cleared to first at T-120
CVG-DTW strangely cleared to first at T-106.

They held back 3 on the DTW departure and 2 on the CVG. There were originally I believe 5 or 6 open on each.

Man, did my plan fail miserably. Within 24 hours, the open D1 seats dwindled to 6 then one by one they kept disappearing. Fearing I'd miss out on the chance, applied the RUC a couple of hours before the flight. By boarding, there were only 2 seats open for upgrade and I snagged one. Whew!

SEA was awesome. Loved their sky club. Took a shower upon arrival and enjoyed their offerings.

The SLC - PVR had 5 out of 16 FC seats open in both directions. Things got pretty heated with a couple of the guys in C+ who wanted to move up. I was surprised DL didn't fill up F on the return since we had been delayed 14 hours.
