The problem is that not all DL mainline aircraft (and no RJs) have seatback screens. Previously one could pick a movie from DL Studio to watch on an iphone or other device for free during any flight that had wifi. To me, the elimination of this feature seems like a move backward.

I don’t think that everyone gets them for free. My other point is…wires. Old school. I brings AirPods with me on trips. When I get up to use the lavatory… hold on let me remove my earbuds. With AirPods I can also go back and forth between devices easily. I know…first world problems.
