DL Sky Panel is back!
I just got an email from Tim. Apparently we can earn points as before.
Maybe this means DL is getting a bit optimistic about travel during the rest of this year.

It's an invite-only site where people can fill out surveys regarding various aspects of the Delta experience (website design, app layout, on board amenities, marketing terminology, etc.). Some of the feedback ends up being incorporated in what consumers end up seeing, and some of it seems to just get scrapped.

Just got an email saying they dropped me from the program. Not a surprise if they base it off frequent flying as I used to be an every week flyer, but between the pandemic and changing jobs I've only flown a handful of times in the past couple years. I redeemed the points for 500 miles at the beginning of January, but they still haven't posted to my SM account. They completely deactivated my Skypanel account so I can't even log in to get a copy of the redemption receipt. At least I still have the redemption email if I have to fill out a complaint form.
Moral of the story is to redeem for those mileage rewards when you can because they can close your account with no notice.

I got an email yesterday saying that the SkyPanel is being "re-invented" (my word) a bit.

Now there's a new website (with the previous fora content gone). When you sign in the first time with the new version, you're asked to pick a username (can be the same or different from what you used previously) and password (eight characters with a number, a letter, and a symbol worked for me without any complaints that it wasn't long enough or strong enough).
