Blue belly D
I’m pet sitting with a Jack Russell terrier whose owners live south of SEA under the flight path for 16C/34C. It’s a beautiful day (except for the smoke in the air) and I’m sitting on the back deck following takeoffs right over my head on flightaware (at about 2500 to 3000 ft). Last night they were landing over my head at about 1400 to 1500 feet.
What I’m struck by are the prominent blue bellies on the DL planes with DELTA in big letters.

Try googling for Mosaic realtime airport viewer to see all the low and ground movement at SEA. It's fun to watch airport traffic on a laptop, and better if the planes are flying over your head.

Thanks.
And mosaic tells me that it’s 16L/34R, not C.

Flightradar24 is also pretty good and has a nice app that is quite detailed even without upgrading (recommend going to Settings and displaying Aircraft Text Labels)

Does it show movements around the Tarmac so that, for instance, you can see how many aircraft (and which ones) are lined up to takeoff?

At Delta, this practice started sometime in 2015. It's relatively common now amongst a number of airlines. I believe EK was the first, or at least one of the first to start putting its logo on the aircraft's belly.

IMO more versatile than the mosaic viewer.

for the geeks, FR24 displays include the A/C registration (which is very convenient when using the app); “Upgrade account to see tail number” prominently appears on FlightAware desktop version, and app appears to have no provision to see more than basic info

Related to the blue DELTA underbelly, I try to sit on the left side for flights into ATL because one of my life goals
is to get a good shot of an aircraft taking off from 26L while we cross under on taxiway Victor.
Sadly this is the best I have been able to manage so far
