Missing Segment FCO

Bought round-trip flight nonstop on Delta (Alitalia metal) LAX-FCO several months back. I could see both segments online and on the app. Was waiting to cancel in hopes they would cancel flights and I would get full refund. Plus, calling sounds like hell. Yesterday, the outbound segment no longer shows up in the app or online but the return segment from FCO still shows. It just went from round trip to saying one way flight from Italy. No email as of yet. Anyone have a clue what I should do? I have a few weeks before we were supposed to fly so it's not urgent.

Hang low for a little bit.
The current changes to airline demand (and corresponding need to alter the schedules) is sudden and mind numbing, even to airline planners.
The priority for now is to handle reservations for the next few days. Most of these are tickets booked before the current situation started. As the airlines work thru these "more current" bookings, then they will be able to start addressing future bookings ... when AND IF ... they determine what the future demands and travel restrictions are. Right now it's just too dynamic/unknown to predict more than a week or so out.
