I just noticed the auto-brightness feature for BP scanning and thought "I don't remember that from before". "Updated on" says Sep 28.

I absolutely hate this. Make the BP in the wallet auto-bright. But don’t make the entire Today Screen full brightness. It’s annoying and blinding.

Now that I've looked at the app while on board in a dark cabin, 100% agree. It should take an extra tap to go into BP mode, not just automatically when you open the app.

Very spammy and I hate it. Now I have to scroll to see all of the info I need.

Agree. There is some obsession with extra white space and miles of screen real estate between taps/clicks these days instead of just presenting raw data on a single screen. I don't care about pretty, but functionality and speed.

The green Delta FlyReady badge gets cut off in the iOS app, for those who upload vaccination/testing documentation before international flights! Wish I had a screenshot, but it's gone from my Today page now.

Same here on our flights last week, and also the Skypriority and Precheck badges are half covered on my iPhone 11. When exporting to MyWallet the Flyready info showed, but not the Skypriority badge.

Is it just me or did they get rid of color coded boarding passes in the last update? I have an SBN-ATL-JAX tomorrow evening, just checked in and I’m in Comfort+ both segments but when I add to wallet it’s a navy blue boarding pass like it was in 2019 while still having the Sky Priority and Pre Check stickers, weird.

I do get "ghost" boarding notifications for flights I am not on. Happened twice in the last two days.

The Inbound Flight tool seems to be broken and continually says no flight exists.

Yep that happened to me too, got a boarding notification for two flights from last week yesterday and was confused as ever.

Finally have my first flight with the new BP design tomorrow, and noticed that apparently they have plenty of time on their hands to make trivial cosmetic changes to the boarding pass page and spam us with ads, but not to fix an actual functional annoyance :rolleyes:

Other usability quirks with the new BP design (at least on Android)

- you can no longer swipe to move between different segments of your flight, which felt like a natural way to do this. Instead you have to use a dropdown menu. OK, fine, but...

- the upgrade list from the blindingly-bright page is locked to the first flight segment. Both before and during the first flight, and even now that it is complete, tapping on the upgrade panel shows me the upgrade list for the first flight only with no way to access the list for the 2nd flight. The only solution I found was to scroll to the bottom and tap on Trip Details, which brings up the old flight details display (and mercifully respects your system's brightness setting) and access the old-style upgrade list there, which allows you to switch between segments.
