AA factors rolling spend over a 12 month period for ranking (within tiers) on the upg list—it’s nice that DL doesn’t do that.

I would agree with this. I'm in the 40-50k range but not 360. I find agents willing to do anything they can to help.

I've actually overheard one gate agent telling another that it was ok to do an exception for me because I am/was an "HVC", using that exact terminology. I thought it was just her way of saying a DM, but seems like it is officially in the system like that.
