There is very little chance of being upgraded at the airport, especially at a palatable price. Delta is more than willing to fly with empty seats. As for olCi, I would guess odds are at about 20 percent that you get an offer and if you don’t accept it might disappear never to be found again. If you have miles you might want to check into a mileage upgrade.
