Involuntary Seat Change -- Advice?

This has unfortunately struck my wife and I for ICN-DTW. At least we received an email telling me we've been moved from two window seats to the center section of the D1 cabin. There are now no window seats available.
I've set an alert on EF but I'm not holding my breath something will open in the next few days.
It's really frustrating that this keeps happening, I selected these seats 7 months ago. We both like window seats as a lack of horizon makes both of us a bit motion sick during takeoff and landing.
Twitter was no help. They just offered different center section seats.
