as we were taxiing in, the FA announced “Delta would like to welcome you to Canada!” ... after a few seconds (and a few gasps) he continued “Happy April Fools Day! We’re really in Detroit like we’re supposed to be ...”

PSA (not an April Fool's Day joke): Some computer outage issue (involving the company that provides weight and balance etc. information to airlines) earlier this morning caused a systemwide halt to all DL flights (including DL Connection) systemwide. It also involved WN and several smaller carriers. Apparently the problem has been fixed, but expect disruptions for a while.
