In the Sky Club now. Pretty full but still lots of empty seats. I have a G6 gate today and had to make the long walk to end of G gates to access the lounge. Having looked at it, I probably will go back to using the F/G gate Sky Club which will now be less full. Not worth coming so far. The work desks are plenty and work both for work and relaxing. The work table is a bit small though.

Food is exactly the same. The music is a bit too loud for me. The announcements are even louder. I would have moved to the old Sky Club if not for my wife who likes it here.

Got back to the old F/G Sky Club. There was a welcome Champaigne and Macaroons serving near the check-in counters. Much less crowded and quieter. This will remain my preferred lounge at MSP.

Crowded but lots of empty seats. Pretty lounge. Long trek to go out this way though if gate isn't nearby.

Are there really no showers? Not a huge deal for me as MSP is home and my shower is just a 10 minute ride away. But it would be a real drag for its premier new lounge at one if it’s major hubs not to have showers.

I was in the new club at 0530 this morning. My flight from LAS parked at gate G18, which turns out to be the closest gate to the new club (where the connector to the C, B and A concourses starts.
I liked the new club. The men's bathroom was much more spacious than in the two existing clubs. There is also a gender neutral restroom. There are work carrels in there, which is nice if you have a longer layover and need to work for a while. I didn't see any champagne or macaroons, but the breakfast foods included cinnamon crumb cakes. |

Not sure how much else I can add, but here’s a try:

Anyone encountered the line “We cant open the outside spaces because of the current flight pattern” at the new G Club? That’s the explanation the bartenders gave this morning.
Besides that, it’s been nice enjoying great runway views from the club. Definite improvement over the F club. |
