How to reset online account?
I had a "senior moment" at the rough old age of 31 and couldn't remember my DL password when installing the app on a new phone. Now I'm locked out of my account because I tried too many wrong passwords. Any fixes that don't involve calling someone?

IIRC DL lets you try again after some time has passed if you don't want to reset to a new password. You can also call DL to verify your identity and try again. [I had trouble with this when I knew the password but didn't realize that caps locked was turned on.]

Help! I'm at an impasse trying to reset my DL account.
When I click the "forgot password" link, I have it send me an email. Then I click the link in that email, and it just takes me to a page to re-enter my DL # and then I have an option to get another email or answer security questions. The security questions are things I don't ever recall telling Delta, and I can't guess the answers. So I'm in a vicious loop of getting emails for password resets.
When I've phoned Delta, they say I have to do the email route. Clearly there has to be *some* way out of this that the agent wasn't aware of, but I can't figure out what it is. Is there a web support line I need to call? It's frustrating that a company like this doesn't have a simple password reset process that actually works.

Thanks...just phoned that number and finally got to someone who seemed to know a bit more. She said the password reset links are never going to work once the account is locked from 3 incorrect attempts to enter a password. The only way to unlock is to email a copy of my passport and a bunch of other information to an account reset group, and she showed me the place on Delta.com to do that. (It's pretty well buried...I never would have found it myself.)
Crazy frustrating process, but I guess it's my fault for forgetting the password to begin with. Clearly I don't fly Delta enough...this is the one password that I don't know offhand and the one I had stored in my password tool is apparently out of date.

Welcome to FT! The post you replied to is 4 years old; no doubt changes to the DL web site since then have rendered that link invalid.
This seems to work today: https://www.delta.com/user-login/resetPassword
you can also go to the regular login screen and click on the Forgot Password link (which is how I got the new one above)
