Funny Delta Napkins
I am flying back from a business trip and the Delta napkins in 1st class were folded on the diagonal. They normally say: No One Changed the world - by staying put" and "The World is changed - by those out in it." When these folded napkins come together, it has an alternative meaning . . .

I don't get it. The original napkin is kind of funny considering the United situation, but I don't get how adding 'out' to it makes it better, different, or even English.

I'm assuming it has to do with one of the meanings of "put out". In this scenario, probably more related to the "disconcert, irritate, or inconvenience" definition rather than the "have sex" version.
Correct. Not 100% sure how it relates to these napkins, though.

Eh, I've definitely seen worse first posts. Most of them in fact. At least it's not a repeat of a question that's been answered hundreds of times, like most first posts.
The real question is whether it's clever/clear enough to have been featured on the FT homepage for the entire weekend. I think that's a pretty clear no.
