Me neither - but then I admit I use them to see my grand children. I usually fly into MAN see my mother etc and then do LPL-NOC- LPL on RyanAir.

Or me and the wife staying at my daughters in County Galway .

I'm flying AF to CDG on August 19th. Hopefully these strikes will be over by then. As for why I decided on AF, I booked RT SEA-YVR-CDG for $2100 in F/J, versus SEA-CDG on DL in J for $4600. My hope is that the extra $5,000 (since my spouse is also going) buys some nice wine for our dinners in Paris.

Or it's one really special bottle of wine in a Michelin starred restaurant.

How does AF stay in business? Everytime you turn around there's another strike.

There will be a different strike by then.

I've had good to superior experiences on AF over the years; I'll always be grateful to them for giving my late father and me the last two upgrade seats in J on a flight in 2003 SFO-CDG that I booked through Delta in the M bucket but Delta would not honor my upgrade instrument; AF bumped 5 people to F SFO-CDG, and upgraded 5 Y pax to J, including my dad and myself.

AF's flights on the IAD-CDG route are solid; interestingly, IMO the food is better eastbound than westbound. Also eastbound, the crew seem eager to get back to France, so they take pains to get the flight buttoned up and off the gate 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure (if you don't check in with them 60 minutes prior to departure, they won't board you).

AF has also vastly improved their terminal situation at CDG.

My wife and I were caught up in an industrial action at CDG in 2009 as we were heading home on a MXP-CDG-IAD itinerary. This time, it was their inter-terminal bus drivers (we landed at 2F and needed to connect at 2E). The buses drove at about 5 kmph and had the heat turned up full blast. I guess we were collateral damage.

As I check the Delta "Alerts and Advisories" page . . . It says this:

"AIR FRANCE CABIN CREW INDUSTRIAL ACTION"

"All Flights Operated by Air France aircraft - July 27 - August 02, 2016"

I don't see any mention of KLM. Did I miss something?!?

If DL issues an AMS or KLM waiver, it will be a separate item. The dates aren't exactly the same.

Today between 09.00 and 13.00, no cargo and mail will be loaded onto departing aircraft by that KLM ground crew union (FNV).
Self loaded cargo is not affected.
I'm sure they do once those actions may impact travel.
