Work is what I so so I can fly around the world and drink beer
Self employed so pretty much anywhere with a decent internet connection can be my office.
Will probably re-qualify for DM this year but likely will drop to PM after next year as I'll finally burn thru my big batch of rollover earned in 2010. Will hit 2MM the end of this year as well (1.1M NW, .9M DL)

IT Consultant, I help clients implement warehouse management systems. Typical consultant schedule, fly in late Sunday night, fly out afternoon/evening Thurs every week. With my currently client's demands for travel every week I will hit DM for the first time this year. Probably hit around 140k mqm

travel for work
I am a technical trainer. At first my role had me at 25%. Most of my trips last 1-2 weeks (usually fly on Saturday or Friday). As my employer has realized I have no children, no wife, and no obligation to be home, they utilize me more than my team mates.
This year I have been away from home on average about 80%. Lots of long international trips with a few domestic sprinkled in.

I am a dangerous goods specialist. Meaning, I teach people how to ship hazardous cargo by air. And the hot button issue is lithium batteries. But this week is Lynchburg, VA and radioactive materials.
Own the business, the demand for the expertise far exceeds the supply, so I stopped attempting to upgrade 2 years ago and just buy first. 26 years in a row of making the highest DL status, going back to Flying Colonel and Royal Medallion

My company specializes in workshops for professional learning both nationally and internationally. So, a lot of face-to face work and some virtual follow ups. I really only have to travel every other week, but I love travel so I pick up gigs on my off weeks. DM for three years.
