It's fine. You just have to pay $29.95 in order to load the app so you can use your HOOUs.

DL app is supposed to work without buying a Gogo session, but mine never does unless I buy a pass...

DL app no longer works without buying a session. When I complained about a persistent inability to connect, a Gogo CSR told me they "now require" purchase to access Delta sites. Sent complaint to Delta who called me to discuss and to tell me that they are aware of it and supposedly are addressing the issue with Gogo. Unfortunately, they have been addressing it since before the end of last year with no improvement. I wouldn't count on being able to use the HOOU unless they stop the games by Gogo of trying to force purchase.

My HOOU coupons now show up - they just released (tonight) an app update and it says in the breakdown chits are there.

If you're flying on a 50-seater, this is quite important:

"Voucher must be printed when flying on Delta Connection carriers operated on an aircraft without a First Class cabin."

I'm assuming all these app updates are iOS only right now? Still no Vouchers area in the Wallet section of the Android app for me.

Haven't flown on a 50 seater in a while (thankfully), but are they still cash only? I don't think they have the scanners to read these.

Delta should just do what their two competitors are doing and eliminate the chits. Just have the FA's give elites free drinks in coach based on the manifest and stop requiring the HOOU's. It's bad enough our upgrades are down thanks to FCM and it'll probably be hard to get C+ seats on last minute high fare bucket bookings, Delta can at least comp drinks for people that fly them 125K+ miles a year

That is the common sense solution. Alaska is great for doing this and they have some great Beer options.
