A319 rows getting renamed?
I did a search and didn't see anything on this so thought I'd start a thread. I have a trip coming up in early january with two segments on A319s and on the outbound segment the rows are showing up as 1-2-3-10-11.... and so on, with the the Y bulkhead being row 10 and the exit row being row 15, but on the return segment the rows are showing up what I'm used to, 1-2-3-4-5... and so on, with the Y bulkhead being row 4 and the exit row being row 9.
Anybody else seeing anything similar to this? I figure it is just an alignment to make all aircraft have the Y cabin start in row 10 but it could throw people off who are used to requesting certain seat numbers.

I know they renumbered the A320s when they reconfigured them. Those went from 3 rows of F to 4, and they changed the first row of coach from 4 to 10 which matches the MDs, 737s, and domestic 767s. Although the A319s aren't getting reconfigured but only refreshed, if you will, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're using the same numbering system on them post-mod. In fact, I just checked and saw that both seat maps are shown on SeatGuru despite that website usually being well behind the times.

The refurbed A319's have 132 seats (vs. 126 on old config) with AVOD and AC/USB powerports. It's a complete refurb (not just a "refresh").

The refurbed A319's are known as the "31J" model --

Yes, the seats were renumbered. Same number of FC (12), C+ (18), and Preferred (18) seats.

I hope they keep the F bulkhead row similar to what it is now, with the cutout in the bottom of the bulkhead for your feet, gives you probably an extra 3" of legroom. I flew on a 319 recently DTW-DCA in row 1 and was really comfortable.

I think that Delta has been slowly moving to a system where all front of Y non-exit row bulkheads are row 10. This probably makes it simple for GA's and others who need that row for various reasons. I can't seem to find a pattern for the various 757's that have the Y bulk head at door 2.
