VERY VERY FRUSTRATED at the downgrade for gold medallions. We really don't get that many upgrades, so access to economy comfort is a HUGE perk. I'm very unhappy about this one.

This is a downgrade for GM, as how often will Comfort+ be available at T-72? Will tehre still be a discount for them to purchase it before T-72?

The "premium snacks" in non-transcon Comfort + is interesting. I wonder if that'll be Luvo meals, or something free off the EATS menu.

And remember, GM's loose the most in the mileage scheme as well.

I wonder if we will at least get our 50% discount on EC before 72 hours.

The Gold EC delay seems like the only tangible change, unless that one free HOOU is important to you.

[added] I wonder what the divider between Main Cabin and Basic Economy will be? Just E fares or something more nefarious?

I really don't care about the free drink. I care about not feeling like I'm on board Spirit Air.

I'm not sure if this has been stated before, but I've noticed that Basic Economy fares won''t be eligible to buy up to Comfort+.

I'm curious about the "innovative cabin experiences" ...

OTOH some DMs and PMs who purchase expensive coach tickets late have been frustrated by the lack of available EC seats. This has the effect of saving those EC seats, or saving the better EC seats, for higher tier elites, at least up to T-72 which is the traditional GM upgrade window.

I wonder whether T-72 will really mean that or be defined as 5 PM ATL time to agree with the upgrade windows. For FOs, free EC has been at exactly T-24 IIRC, even if they can do OLCI earlier because of other connecting flights.

Really looking forward to the day when PM's get 5-day Comfort+ check-in if available.

Can we re-title this thread to make it a little more clear?

I hope it is just an omission. As someone that does purchase J tickets on this route, I would miss the premium service (when it was actually provided).

I have no doubt that DL best-in-class IT will make sure it's at T-72 hrs
