Help with Searching...

I cannot figure this out.

A lot of talk on here about Air France, Virgin Atlantic, Korean and KLM.

When I search through the Delta.com website, the only partner that I am seeing is AS (Alaska).

Why am I not seeing flights operated by the others.

My searches were all departing on June 26th 2015 and returning July 19th 2015. I tried the multi day and the 5 week option as well as the fixed date. Results were all the same, no partner flights.

I searched ORD, DTW, JFK, MSP and IAD all to CDG and none showed an Air France option.

I searched ORD, DTW, JFK, MSP and IAD all to AMS and none showed a KLM option.

I searched ORD, DTW, JFK, MSP and IAD all to LHR and none showed an Virgin Atlantic option.

I also searched LAX and SFO to ICN and neither showed a Korean Air option.

Doe anyone have advice as to why many see partner flights, yet I am unable to see any?

Thanks in advance!

The partner flights are only available at the "saver" level, so the results will appear more limited than Delta flights. I've seen all 4 of those carriers on searches with the new award calendar. Try changing your dates by a few months to confirm. The summer is a popular time to travel so the availability on partners may have already dried up for the most part. I booked flights on both Air France and KLM back in August around those times when the calendar first opened.

Delta makes it very difficult to find award flights on partners. Either they don't exist (low-tier availability is not available) or they don't display on the calendar when searching by price. Try searching by schedule and perhaps -- perhaps -- you'll see availability. But, you'll generally need to be very flexible on dates and routings.

Are you searching for award tickets or trying to pay with money for plane tickets? Partner award space is only available at low level.

You're also apparently searching for some non existing flights: MSP had AF service to CDG last summer but I'm not sure whether this summer's seasonal flights are loaded, although they should be. All of the MSP-AMS nonstops are DL operated but available as KLM codeshares. For MSP-LHR, again the flight is DL operated, but might have Virgin codeshares although AFAIK Virgin has never served MSP at all.

Many of these partners show some award and upgrade inventory buckets on EF, so you might be able to save some time doing searches there, or even verifying schedules there. Of course, DL no longer permits EF to display any DL data.

Still searching...

Again... I am not a novice, not an expert either.

Have used the search tool many times to secure tickets to Europe and Africa in the past.

I could type every search that I did, but I tried to reduce it to the major hubs that Air France flies into.

If I made a mistake on MSP, sorry, but I have searched from JFK, IAD, ATL, DTW and MSP every day from July back to early March before the search results showed any Air France availability.

I am not able to see any Air France/KLM or Virgin Atlantic flights period after early/mid March and was trying to understand how that could be on just my end.

To be totally honest, I do see Air France and KLM flights, but only intra-Europe flights. All transatlantic flights are Delta.

I have tried multiple computers, logged in or not, I only see Delta flights.

Is this an IT issue, or are there are Air France/KLM/Virgin Atlantic transatlantic flights off the table for all of next spring and summer?

For Virgin flights, use the virgin website to first find space
For AF/KLM, use the Flying Blue website to first find space
For Alitalia, search to FCO first on DL.com

There tons of Virgin award space open all spring. Very little AF/KLM, a smattering of Alitalia.
