Earning MQM in 2015

I am confused on MQM Earned during 2015. Is it 7 Miles per dollar? or MQM is just miles flown? or 7 miles per dollar (GM) is the skymiles?

Thanks

There's no change. Only RDM (redeemable miles change). A quick search would have brought this up.

MQM earning in 2015 is the same as this year and last year. The redeemable earnings are changing based on your status and dollar amount spent minus government taxes.

I think Delta has a real problem on their hand. I think more than half of their customers that know things are changing next year think that MQMs are changing.

So, do you expect a follow-up e-mail from DL clarifying RDM, MQS, MQM, and MQD... PDQ?

DL tackled that confusion pretty directly when it announced the first MQD requirements in early 2013. Web pages still speak to it.

Medallion status will still be earned through a combination of the miles or segments you fly plus your annual spending on Delta flights.

MILES VS. MQMs
Redeemable miles earned toward Award Travel differ from Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs). MQMs are used to determine Medallion status and will continue to be based on distance flown.

MQDs
Starting in January 2014 and applicable for U.S. members only, Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs), which measures your annual spending on Delta flights, became an additional component that is required to earn Medallion status.

They played flag football with it, they hardly tackled it. There are some people that are pissed at this over changes that aren't happening.
